This curriculum unit focuses on perfectionism, pop art and poetry writing.  The tasks are organized by chapter and are designed to help students develop the academic and affective skills introduced in each chapter.  Lessons and coaching notes guide teachers to provide direct instruction where needed and offer strategies to foster independence and achievement. Assessment tools are provided and explained. The unit culminates in a performance project in which students produce a pop art piece and write poetry to accompany the piece.  97 pages.
